Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
Below, you will find a lengthy video presentation and a second three minute presentation about a variety of things we believe are helpful for new parents/guardians to NVMI. In the time of COVID-19, these replace the face-to-face orientation sessions we would normally conduct. You can certainly take breaks during the long video if you need to do so. We encourage all parents/guardians new to NVMI (and any returning parents who would like a refresher) to watch both presentations and then take the quiz found at the bottom of the page. Parents who reach a passing score of 80% or higher on the quiz will earn FIVE parent service hours.
