JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST DATES TO REMEMBER

The purpose of this email is to summarize all of the things happening at NVMI during the summer months. Please read it carefully and let me know if you have any questions.

  • SUMMER OFFICE HOURS – From now until August the school office will be open 8AM-3PM weekdays.
  • THURSDAY AND FRIDAY JUNE 10 AND 11 - Students who are not passing one or more classes should be completing assignments to try to earn passing grades.  Work with your teachers and turn in the work to them and communicate about what you must accomplish to pass. Strive to get that work done by this Thursday or Friday - whenever the teachers set their deadline.
  • FRIDAY JUNE 11 from 8AM-NOON if you have not yet turned in your Chromebook, Chromebook charger, hotspot, and hotspot charger, please do so then. Also bring any textbooks, library books, uniform items you have outgrown, band instruments you borrowed from NVMI, athletic equipment or uniforms you borrowed from NVMI, or anything else that belongs to NVMI.  This is also a chance to come get the gift cards you ordered if you ordered those for merit exchange.
  • SATURDAY JUNE 12 from 8AM-NOON is another chance to return any NVMI items you have (such as Chromebook, Chromebook charger, hotspot, and hotspot charger, please do so then. Also bring any textbooks, library books, uniform items you have outgrown, band instruments you borrowed from NVMI, athletic equipment or uniforms you borrowed from NVMI) and/or pick up gift cards you ordered for merit exchange.
  • ALSO SATURDAY JUNE 12 is the time to come pick up items you need for Summer Camp. When you come Saturday, you will get all the supplies you need, including the duffel bag into which you should pack all your items for camp. You will also receive detailed instructions about how to pack, how to break in your boots, how to take care of your feet during camp while wearing the boots, how to prepare your uniform, etc. Try to come at your assigned time as follows. If you cannot come at your assigned time, at least be here sometime between 8AM and NOON or you will miss your chance to get the items and you will not have what you need for camp. This would be a HUGE PROBLEM FOR YOU, so please plan on being here:
