“Mr. A” graduated with a BS Education degree from the University of the Philippines in 2002. He majored in Special Education and minored in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. He has over 16 years of teaching experience, holding an Education Specialist Credential for Moderate/Severe disabilities and a second credential from UCLA for Mild/Moderate Disabilities with Autism Authorization. As a skilled professional, he has worked effectively with students who exhibit developmental delays, autism, emotional disturbance, and learning disabilities. He establishes appropriate relationships with the students, parents, paraprofessional/ clinical staff, administrators, and the community. He always uses good judgment, and adheres to policies/standards while willing to improve professional skills as well as being open to discuss new ideas and concepts.
Mr. A is happily married with 3 young sons. His wife of 15 years is dentist who practices in Woodland Hills. The family has made their home in the San Fernando Valley and there is never a dull moment with three energetic boys. In his free time, he likes playing video games, golf and listening to live rock, trance, house, and rave music.
