In our modern era, technology makes cheating "a whole new world" unlike previous generations without such access to technology. We encourage parents to talk to their kids about the dishonesty of cheating, and we encourage students to "do the right thing" and avoid the temptation to cheat.

FAILING A CLASS FIRST SEMESTERNVMI’s policy is that if you fail a class first semester, you are ineligible for athletics and all other extra curricular activities during second semester until you remediate the failed course(s). That means you cannot play any sports, participate with the band, do survival training, be a cheerleader, etc. If you fail, there will be Winter Credit Recovery available...

All NVMI cadets have recently had the opportunity to participate in a daylong field trip to the Museum of Tolerance to learn about respect for diversity,  Students experienced the impactful visit and received the message that respecting others is an essential element of a democratic society, and that even when others do wrong, two wrongs don't make a right.
